Pros & Cons
Pros
Great product. Created a custom stencil to use on cookies. If you are needing a cutter this one is great.
This baby gets hot and easily cuts through mylar and packaging plastics. The easiest way to describe it is it melts the mylar similarly to how a hot glue gun melts the glue sticks. Its very hot, melts stencil on tack with proper warm up time.
Cons
The nice wedding stay * in to cut, so you constantly have to push it against something to rescrew it. Power is inadequate for even small projects. Junk, not happy with it. Spend money on the x-acto with the heated blade option.
Highlights
Quality
I completed 15 stencils with the curved tip and nothing went wrong.
Gets real hot and works , well i'm very pleased
Price
This is a nice, simple product for a very reasonable price.
Packaging/appearance
This baby gets hot and easily cuts through mylar and packaging plastics.
Competitiveness
So much easier than using an x-acto knife.
It’s very difficult to use x-acto blades when cutting a stencil and takes forever.

And i also suggest gluing the base down to something sturdy because like i said it gets hot and the base it comes with doesnt really hold it in place
