Pros & Cons
Pros
Azul is an easy to learn tile placement game. The pieces are nicely made, colorful, and encourage understanding of pattern. The quality is top notch!
This is an easy one that doesn’t take too much effort but still pushes you to strategize and plan. It has three stages and scoring is done throughout the game. I love how simple to learn but yet complex enough to replay often this game is.
As it becomes familiar, it turns into a strategic showdown. Azul is a perfect board game to satisfy both sexes. It has the purpose of collecting certain elements and building a strategy while doing so.
Cons
After contacting them again. It is all clear that this game isn't in new condition and likely had been played, repackaged without all the extra parts. This game is produced with cheap, dull plastic.
While i despise the games of luck (like chutes and ladders), this game seems almost on the opposite end of spectrum where luck plays only minor role. This game is boring, like super boring.
Packages seem quite disheveled. The starting player tile is completely missing from the package. The game offers zero appeal.
Highlights

Very fun for quality time with friends and family
The slightest touch and everything gets knocked out of place.
The components are durable and the game is relatively quick.

I especially appreciate how beautiful the box and all the pieces are.
Competitiveness
The strategy involved is deep enough to make this a good choice for groups of players that include both seasoned gamers as well... Read More
We guys being more competitive didn't mind it, but the gals, more interested in social interaction lost interest after a few sessions.
