This game is very similar to splendor if you have played that game. If you don't care for the spice merchant theme there is also a golem edition that is the same game with a theme of creating golems rather than trading spices.

Otherwise, this cube of meat is a little too dry for my tastes.

Its very easy to learn but the deck building engine is robust enough that one can play it multiple times with no loss of novelty.
The inserts doesn't fit sleeved cards, they also overflow.
This feel like unnecessary hidden/subtle info that might be missed and create extra work for the players.

There are a lot of cards for your deck so you sometimes see cards you havent played before making it feel different each time

You have to be more calculated in cew i really felt like i was traveling by boat harvesting and trading all as part of a planned sequence which if executed is very satisfactory and feels like you achieved something it also feels very thematic

Here in csr however due to the lack of spatial element in the game it feels like a very dry game like an improved version of splendor
