Highlights
Quality
The quality of the components is great with unique coral reef pieces that stack nicely.
Throw in an appealing theme and quality components and this game is a winner.
Theme is great and meshes better with the gameplay.
The cards are of fine quality, but since they are handled a bit i sleeved mine.
Price
My only complaint would be the price.
It feels a little bit like playing with fisher price toys, and that's a good thing.
Shipping
It’s fast and has lots of strategy.
The shipping box was fine, so it might have happened before shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Fun to play, beautiful packaging, and quality pieces.
Competitiveness
Great game for families with just the right amount of player interaction (competition for cards) to keep things interesting.

Im a little colorblind and i struggle a bit telling the difference between red and yellow coral on the cards its more orange on the cards but this is mitigated by the pieces having different shapes

Reef plays very quickly and the end game is triggered once you run out of pieces of one of the color groups

The actions are very simple select a faceup card and put it in your hand or play a card which requires taking the colored pieces shown placing on your board and scoring any points if you match the pattern on that card
