Pros & Cons
Pros
These are my favorite cable brand. These american stage cables sound great and much cheaper. My setup requires at least one double right angle cable.
Would definitely take these over monster or mogami. Unless you want to spend over $100 per cake, this is imo the best you can get at an affordable price.
Cons
The cable is too stiff and so does not lay nicely on the floor. This is unacceptable for a premium-priced guitar cable. Although the plugs seem good, overall it's just not a great cable.
I play a schecter bass and this thing popped in and out horribly. It moves back and forth slightly breaking connection. Also very stiff and unmanageable; hard to unroll / roll up.
You're better off which one of the super cheapies they sell on here. Way better off with mogami. It's overpriced for my needs and what it is.
The solder surface is rough and the solder isn't adhered to the metal as though there was no flux used. It's also unacceptable from a brand such as d'addario. Beware of bad soldering.
Highlights
Quality
They are super sturdy and well made.
A good sturdy (so far) instrument cable that doesn’t fall out and sounds nice.
In an over saturated world full of numerous music gear companies, welcome to planet waves!
Good solid ends however the cable tangles up.
Price
I gave it 4 stars on price, because if it were cheaper, i'd buy 2!
Best bang for your buck in my book.
It's overpriced for my needs and what it is.
They are a little pricey, but worth it.
Packaging/appearance
Comes with cable tie clamp to keep cable wrapped when storing.
Competitiveness
Seems to be built better than the lower priced brands; time will tell.
It also has a nice integrated cable tie that is much more convenient compared to a velcro tie.
It’s crazy trying to find a cable to trust with sooooo many different companies making knock off cables and cords.
See the video how these cords are stronger than other brands.
