I like this design with the button disconnect.
If you need a long lasting quality cord, this is it, don't ever buy monster anything, seriously do not give them your money.
Solid product, button still works 4 years later.

When i ordered this cable i was looking for something that would kill the signal not only when you plug or unplug the guitar but keep the circuit broken all the time the guitar is unplugged

The way this cable functions is the button is pressed when you unplug the guitar or plug in the guitar and the circuit is broken
