Pros & Cons
Pros
D'addario guitar strap pad fits perfect on my ernie ball strap. No more slipping. The gel padding feels wonderful. The velcro is very secure.
Comfier than my regular strap. If you don't mind the extra weight, it's a nice cushion. For the most part works well and is comfy.
He really appreciates how nice the product is and would recommend it to anyone else. Worth every penney. I believe that i received an updated version as it looks slightly different.
Makes any heavy instrument feel lighter, specially if you play standing. Also helps with relieving stress from where the guitar strap rests on my body. It definitely relieves a lot of the pressure on the shoulder and neck when playing for long periods... Read More
Cons
There's no mechanism that secures this pad onto a guitar strap. This product gets a thumbs down from me.
Highlights
Quality
This is good quality, easy use and comfortable for hours
Easy to install using two flap velco straps and is fairly easy to adjust but here in lies the problem as well.
It has jell bubbles covered in fabric on the back, and attaches by strong velcro.
A two inch wide nylon strap isn't enough to support a heavy bass guitar, or even a medium weight bass for more than an hour.
Price
I would definitely say it's worthy of the price even with the minor nuisance of having to adjust it occasionally.
It might have everything you want but be a $200 custom job.
Packaging/appearance
Way too big box for this little item
