Pros & Cons

Pros

After years of using the top brand heavy-spring, clamp-type capo, these are a godsend - especially for acoustic gigs. This d’addario capo is on the lower side of the price range but works like a charm.

A definite buy. The only downside is that it doesn't clip onto the headstock for easy storage.

Compact and its small enough to be inconspicuous. It is sleek in design, so you are not distracted by the capo. It has a small profile so it doesn't get in the way, but it does the job in *.

Cons

It's unbelievable how dumb these product development guys would have to be to overlook this. Looks good, very small footprint, but man, so cheaply made!

My only takeaway is that they’re paid reviews by d’addario. Oh well.

The dimensions and curvature are the same. But the ukulele model only covers 4 of the 6 strings lol. This capo only fits on the first 3 or 4 frets-- beyond that it becomes too small to reach all the strings.

It is small enough it doesn’t get in the way and light enough it won’t ding the guitar if i accidentally drop it.

You can tighten it just enough to ring clearly without crushing strings and driving the pitch sharp.

Price

I just needed something low key and affordable, not spending too much because i don’t even use a capo while playing anyhow, unl...  Read More

Competitiveness

$10 and it worked just as good if not better then any other capo i’ve used.

Its adjustment wheel technology allows you to get just the right tension so that you have no string buzz but not so much that you alter the pitch by squeezing the strings too hard

This is a difficult balance to reach on some other capos i have used

I would recommend the silver colored capo which is apparently stronger than the black plastic model which apparently breaks more easily

Would be nice if they also offered this product an all metal darkanodized color

This daddario guitar capo replaced the daddario capo on the bottom

The one for this review on the top is for me a little easier to play with
