The two layers of pickandpluck have nothing separating them and the perforations go all the way through the foam so if you pluck both layers for two different patterns as shown in the picture you may get contact between the contents of both layers

The lid does only open 90 degrees and will occasionally start to creep closed but the hinges have enough friction that it doesnt just slam shut

These cases are fine for transporting firearms robotic devices drones and sensitive components other than caustic materials

However the locks leave a lot to be desired and there are no alternative locking devices available that i could locate globally
