Pros

The plano extra large dry storage box with tray makes a good salt water pier/surf fishing tackle box. More importantly for surf/pier fishing uses it will help prevent salt water, sand and dirt from getting into the tackle box.

It's strongly made and capable of withstanding rough handling. It is very strong and durable. Both latch and hinge appear they will last with repeated use.

Has a very large main storage area with a lift out tray.

The box is large and roomy with a tray and a lid cubby. The compartment in the lid does a good job of all the smaller items like fuses and zip ties. It holds all my charts, light list, instruments and coast pilot books and the compartment is great for... Read More

Cons

O-ring seal on lid is supposed to seal watertight or at least water resistant. But, there's no way it seals on the long sides as it makes no contact.
