Good case but im a little worried about the quality control the little metal protectors where you put the padlocks and theres 4 total topbottom and 2 were missing i found one loose in the box but one must have fallen out of the box during shipment out of one of the cracks i looked extensively

The foam rubber on the bottom is an inch thick and the foam rubber in the middle is two inches thick and the top is about an inch thick

What you might care aboutpros excellent size and weight very sturdy metal reinforced lock holes as you can see it fits this larger master lock which is nice because i didnt want to hassle with yet another key and wanted a larger lock that felt less pickable not that that is the reason you need a lock here in gun restriction central ca it just seemed ridiculous to have a cheapo lock on a nice case

The top layer is pretty thick so when you remove it the gun sinks way down in the case

To accommodate this i had to cut the foam i removed in half depthwise and put it back to make the gun easier to get in and out

It doesnt look like something easy to break into unlike some of the cheaper ones i have seen so although this is again simply for transport i want anyone with ill intent looking into my car and seeing this to decide it isnt worth the effort
