Pros
While i have a number of plano tackle boxes, this is my favourite by a good margin. Very well made and plenty of room for all of your tackle. The latches on each box 3 per.
The waterproof stowaways in this unit were so good i bought a full complimentary set for my 7771 unit. The seals on the waterproof containers are so tight they are as promised waterproof and are easy to remove.
Cons
This design flaw could be easily fixed with a fairly minor design change. It's very big. With a lot of useless framework and very little storage. Unfortunately, all of the plano box dimensions are listed as 1x1 x 1.

Price was great, but description of why it was returned was vague and inaccurate - which turned out better for me.

Called and a week later received free pin for the hinge.
Packaging/appearance
So far he has been delighted by it and it makes a great a "mother ship" for all of the smaller plano boxes, or as a carry-along box.
Hinted it wasn't going to come w/promo goods and not in original container - but usually these are sold without a container.
Was worried it would be missing some of the interior boxes, which why i was buying it.
In fact, it was no only not missing any boxes, it had one small extra one in it.

I think the main box design is a bit big and cumbersome with a decent amount of wasted space
