Pros

The pelican case only has a few scratches but locks securely every time. The smaller one is filled with (3) types of scissors, sewing needles, wrist pin cushion. Although very tight (they have to be), clasps are still easy to manipulate.

Box comes with two heavy silicon mats for top and bottom. No problem with the seal liner. Comes with thick rubber for the bottom and three latches for the lid.

The box is perfect as a humidor, stash box, or humidity-protected container for optical gear. It does a great job of blocking humidity and odors.

Cons

Clear design gets crazy hot in the sun, and cooks your phone. And now the gasket falls out and is next to impossible to get it to stay in. Hinges can be difficult, the pin for the hinge will slide and catch on the plastic edges.

Great size, and durable, it fits our pod and all the phones and keys and wallets for everyone on the boat!

Only negative is it’s a bit pricey.

I removed the two side lockers to insert and fit easily with three other original boxes that came with the bag.

Nice box to store items under your hobie seat.

But the box is perfect as a humidor, stash box, or humidity-protected container for optical gear.
