You need the smaller master lock with the longer neck/loop.
I have a 24 barrel and the length is still fine, but with the scope on it's a bit snug from top to bottom.

Feels relatively sturdy overall but i wouldnt throw it down the stairs as the locks dont seem too sturdy although when carrying the case this wouldnt be a problem due to the design

Downfall on the case lock is not all 4 lock holes are the same size thick
