It is a good enough case to use for transporting the range or out to the fields but quite flimsy

The limiting factor seems to be the internal cut out for the handle which is right where the scope would be attached which means the rifle needs to be carefully positioned

Good case slightly flimsy and not a complete seal incase it is being used for long term storage

The padded interior means that the rifle is held securely so it doesnt slide about but it does mean we have to force the case shut but this is only due to the scope against the padding

I purchased this case specifically for transporting a number of historical reenactment musket barrels when travelling to europe by road unfortunately there does not appear to be any cases of 1
