Bought this for my son's first birthday. Older one sits on the floor and plays with it while the one-year-old, whom it was purchased for, stands. Purchased product 4 years ago for my older grandson. Great toy for a kid.
The drums sound good, the cymbal.
It makes such a pleasant sound, and is well made. The noise it makes is not overwhelming or offensive in any way. It's not too loud.
Cons
This drum set is very disappointing, to say the least. The cymbal barely stays up for 3 minutes of play. It doesn't screw together tightly, which makes it difficult to play.

It was very easy assembly, seems to be fairly durable and she's already spent hours playing with it.
It constantly gets knocked over while he plays.
