The height of this is perfect for my tall lanky boxer. I have a shepherd/* mix, about 5'7 standing on his hind legs. Works great for my 95lb black lab. Perfect for my great dane.

The bowls are thick and great quality, i love that they have a rubber cover on the rim.

If you have taller/larger dogs i recommend going with the xl.

Glad i read reviews about paint chipping and to go with the vein silver/bronze.
