There are 25 decals which need to be applied very very precisely across all four sides of the main firetruck body into mostly recessed regions with very very little spare area within those regions to fit them all into such that they will appear properly

So i believe that these instructions should have advised any adult assisting the child to do this first even maybe before garnering any of the childs involvement in assembling this toy at all

This is because this upfront portion of the assembly effort first step in the firetruck assembly happens immediately after putting the two firefighters and their oxygen gear together made my grandson mostly bored as i tried to apply them all with him
