Battery life is awful the volume control punchthrough for sound systems doesnt work the control buttons dont work with all video apps and worst of all the remote shuts off after 30 minutes of inactivity

It was a 4star product that was only short of that last star because it didnt work as a universal remote for all my other devices

So after getting a ps4 i incorrectly assumed that the ps4 media remote control would be pretty much the same thing

For example whereas sonys ps3 remote had separated the circle button the frequent back button for easy access because people are always using it while navigating through all the menus this remote has all the buttons on one line and the back circle button is the 2nd button from the left

It might not sound like a big deal but thats probably because you use a remote control with intuitive button placement

The moment you start having to stop what youre trying to do navigate menus to stare down at the remote to find the right button among 4 small ones

There are multiple instances of this kind of thing that you just end up finding out over time things that every other decent remote seems to get right but this one gets wrong
