Cons
Scratched my vita on the back. At least it looks good. My vita now has a chipped edge. Not compatible with the new ps vita.
It's awkward, and leaves the sides of the vita exposed. The quality of the plastic clip is very shoddy. It snaps on right, but when you flip the back cover down it only goes down to a certain angle.
The design is kind of a clam shell but would imply it protects the side which it doesn't. If you happen to spill something on the vita while it's in the case it's still going to get damaged.

Great for a carrying case just for simple transportation and what not but i would not recommend it if you want something heavy duty since it does not completely enclose the the vita and is not constructed to sustain high impact

Cons are the side and top are exposed so be careful if you throw in you backpack with small objects like coins or pens because it will get scratched
