New elite version is an absolute piece of junk. Piece of *, not worth the money at all. Worst diaper genie i have ever owned and i have owned them with all my kids.
The lid keeps opening and the bags clearly doesn’t hold up to 270 newborn diapers as advertised. After the way to empty is annoying. Better off just using a regular garbage bin.
The pail is deformed and doesn't close properly. The foot pedal is good for about the first change and then it slips. The main unit doesn’t close seamlessly.

Love the hand free step to openit holds smells very well in the pale
If you have larger product, this may not work.
The only thing that could be improved is to increase size for more capacity and perhaps, make the opening a bit larger.
Price
This was i think the cheapest of the diaper genies on amazon and it’s just as sturdy and scent free as the one my friend paid $100 for.
It was on discount when i bought so i really like this
The pails for adult diapers are far more expensive.

Wrote to the manufacturer that this was missing and asked for one to be sent.
