Pros

Carbon filter eliminates the odor from garbage bags and bins.

Not much to say other than it works but needs to be changed periodically. I still put the packet in and surprise is that it works! These are a must have.

Cons

Product name is very misleading. It is not the tray, it is the carbon refills only. Not sure if the ones i received were old or defective.

We didn’t read the directions closely enough when we got our diaper genie and therefore didn’t change the filter for two months.

You still have to wash the bin and the plastic ends up having a smell to it anyway but much better than anything else we’ve ever used

I also bought petmate booda dome filter it's charcoal and i put it on the bottom under the bag in the litter genie too.

I still put the packet in and surprise is that it works!
