First set seemed to be very defective the seller did replace however

They are a bit cheesy but have held up really well and i am happy with them plus i didnt have to drill any holes in my boat or install anything permanent which does not work for a boat that put a blind on for over half the year

There is a bit of sidetoside wobble after tightened in place but this would be hard to correct and is not a big deal

Also the lower knob is quite small and a little difficult to turn but once the holder is in place i feel it should not be moved around a lot

I give 4 stars because there is no way to clamp these on my sit on tamarack kayak
