Pros

Good combo of everything. First larger coated mesh net. Rinses nicely so far.

The net is lightweight and easy to unfold. Folds easily to fit in backpack. Perfect for storing in a kayak or tucking out of the way for travel/storage.

Perfect for any fisherman. Stows away nicely in my kayak during transport. Took it with on my boundary waters trip in mn.

The net material is smooth and the fish and lure hooks remove easily. Netted a 10lb. Catfish. For lighter duty, it’s an effective tool at an affordable price.

Cons

To extend the net, i need to twist and pull pretty hard to have it come out. It did break after 1 day of use on a boat with 1 decent bass.

I'm happy with the purchase, and love how easy it is to set up.

So far i'm pleased with the fixed one, i might get the telescopic one later on.

The first net had a quality issue where the handle fell off, possibly from the wrong type of glue or not enough.

There is no way that could be done with the net i received.

Competitiveness

Haven't landed a lunker yet, so not sure how it'll handle the weight.
