Pros

Reel works as good as any reel i've ever used. Will be purchasing 1 or 2 more in the near future. Prompt and great customer services. Add a couple of sprays of oil and wd-40 prior to storing which is why i'm still using it two years later.

These are excellent for backpacking! Easily fits in your backpack. This combo is a little too long to go inside my pack but it straps easily to the outside.

These seem to be fairly high quality with really smooth reeling action. Looks beautiful, ultra portable and works great. It is colapsable which is nive for transport.

Walk in several miles and setup and start catching fish. Only complaint is that the little lion catch that you use to initially hold the line while feeding it in for hold line when you don't have anything rigged up.

Cons

Tip of the rod beginning to pealing off. The pole gets stuck sometimes and is very hard to collapse. The metal loops that the wire runs through snapped off when closing the pole.

Fought hard but this pole held its own , it was flexible , comfortable and it landed me my first musky !

It finally broke a couple of weeks back after catching countless fish with this thing.

It is so small when reduced that i have it in my truck out of the way.

Price

Not a huge deal at all for something like this off of amazon, so i don't consider it a con.

Price makes it a good value for a spare(second) rod/reel.

Don’t expect anything crazy for a $50 combo but it’s really fun to throw in a backpack and hike around looking for ponds.

On the pictures it showed it coming with a carrying case, which it did not it came with the sleeve which is why i removed 1 star.

Came with a couple of extra protective sleeves.
