Reel works as good as any reel i've ever used. Looks beautiful, ultra portable, mecanisms are quick and functional. Will be purchasing 1 or 2 more in the near future. Reel is amazing smooth and very nice action.

This combo is a little too long to go inside my pack but it straps easily to the outside. Easily fits in your backpack. But you have to line up the eyelets when you extend it, which takes a moment.

Ended up catching 5 smallmouth bass. I love to fish from my canoe and kayak when camping and this really fits the bill. My only complaint is that the little lion catch that you use to initially hold the line when you don't have anything rigged up.
