Pros

Great setup for anyone needing a portable setup. Also includes some fishing line and fake bait and floaters, which he loved too. Great for taking alone on the boat or kayak.

Bought this some months ago for my re-entry into fishing after a 50-year layoff. This product was delivered fast and works wonderfully. Good bang for the buck.

Very smooth casting and reeling. The reel has an extremely smooth feel when casting and retrieving. If you're new to spinning reels, as we were, its worth watching a few youtube videos to learn techniques.

This is my second pole i've recieved from plussino. It's great and very lightweight and fits very comfortably in my hands. The rod and reel combo are much higher quality than anyone can expect for the price.

Cons

Super frustrating. Returned them all. Sending it back for a refund.

What is the point of a telescopic rod if the telescopic nature is the reason it breaks. The pole is unreliable overall and cheaply made. One is defective, the screw nut for the fishing keeps coming undone and falling off.

My husband loved it the price and shipping was great!

Also important to mention it's the chepeast of all 3 (kastking was $60 for just the rod and ghosthorn is $80 for the combo) .

To be honest i hadn't fished with it yet, but i had a previous plusinno telescopic rod which was very good for it's price.

Didn't know what to expect but did not want to take my other rods as they were not as portable and expensive.

I was amazed at the quick and extremely satisfying customer service i received.

Please send the reelupdate: got ahold of plusinno and they were wonderful and sent the reel.

Update: vendor sent me a replacement product, very good customer service!

Packaging/appearance

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a neatly packed rod with the extra accessories included.

I really like the case it came in and so far everything looks as it should.

The thing is sturdy, collapses into a small package, comes with basics and a carry case.

Wanted to have an easily packable pole and chose this.

Competitiveness

I could replace with a "higher end" reel, but i don't see the need so far.
