I am truly amazed with the quality of this rod for the price point!
I put on a 1000 reel and a thin nylon line, and the weight is very balanced with the rod.
Before ordering i had my concerns about the product.
Not an issue with the pole itself but it's way bigger then i needed, at 8ft its huge.
Price
The price is pretty good so eventually i decided to buy it.
Very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this rod and the low price was an added bonus.
Competitiveness
Collapsed down, they'll fit in a backpack or carry on.
Its an absolutely convenient and portable companion for adventure fishing where a 8ft rod would not make the trail .

The rings can detach if your lazy and bang the pieces together to get it closed instead of twisting them the right way
