My first impression of this product was of how large it actually is it takes up more space than my allinone printerscannerfax machine but just isnt as tall

Scanning on this is very quick but the one major downside here is that you are basically forced into using their software with this scanner which isnt a big deal because the software is pretty decent overall but i dont like being limited in this way and im sure theres a workaround to get this to work with 3rd party software but so far i havent had the time nor the desire to attempt it

Scan speed isnt all that quick and the software is somewhat flaky and quirky

But it did the job scanned quite a few books and booklets using it until i got tired of the slow speed and replaced it with an opticbook a300 at several times the price and still flaky software but faster and larger platen
