Pros

Only 4-stars overall. But useful for everyday use and copying files for retention. It's very slim and compact and doesn't take up much room on the desk.

The plustek scanner is incredibly easy to use. It automatically runs pdf-maker, copy, ocr, and email. It works with paperport so you can scan into paperport.

Only need one usb connection between scanner and/or hub or pc. Mac driver must be downloaded at plustek website.

Cons

The software provided is horrible and not user friendly. There is downloadable software but it has to be the worst mac interface ever. If it is going to support future mac os systems i suggest the company pay attention to the software's mac interface.... Read More

Photos are cropped by 1 millimeter on the left or right sides. Aligning photos to the edges of the scanner is a tremendous pain.

Good price, arrived quickly and works as advertised.

The price, quality and ease of installation were fine.

Packaging/appearance

I thought i could just scan a document, open it in word & be able to edit the document.

Competitiveness

The plustek scanner uses a full size type b usb connector which i hope will last longer.

I am not a fan of the plustek software to run the scanner but image capture works fine for my purposes.

After the latest win10 update it stopped working again.

* very small for a flatbed scanner--not much bigger than a child's large storybook.
