Pros

Pny is a trusted brand and very dependable. Bought in september of 2021. Work as advertised and at an attractive price.

Pny flash drives come in two 1. Gb to 1. G each and 1 gb to 2 g each. My 2018 honda requires a flash drive to update the gps map on its navigation system. The honda. Com site says it requires a 2 gb to 3 gb gb flash drive.

Cons

Amazon needs to go back to the seller and ask them to clean up their deceptive marketing practice of advertising these as fully capable thumb drives, which they are not. Repeatedly failed to boot xigmanas or memtest86 from these drives. The only part ... Read More

Are these things counterfeit or just no more quality any more from this company? Not very reliable. The manufacturer is the one responsible for a defect.

The write speed fluctuates between very slow and nonexistent when you transfer files. Class 10 micro sd cards are much faster and stable than this. It takes 54 minutes to fill with zeroes.

These covers are not removable. You have to push the cover back with significant pressure to get it to release. And sliding the drives back under the caps is impossible. Also the cap design is awful, nice because you can't loose the caps but they are ... Read More
