Pros

Pny makes top quality, easy to install products that basically rarely quit. Everything looks strong and durable, just how it should. One thing i can say is any product from this line holds good on dependability.

Pny cs2140 has 476gb of usable space. This ssd works perfectly in my ps5. Holds it's own next to other brands -- samsung, western digital, crucial, and others.

This is a very economical drive compared to how much they used to run. It's worth every penny. I remember a few years ago when these gen4 drives were super expensive.

Cons

Tried in a working usb housing with a 1 tb drive and did not show up. Back to mail online home.

Competitiveness

My dell g7 7790 came with a 256gb m.

My wife had a 256mb solid state and a 1tb spinner in a gaming laptop she uses.

For less critical data he can have one of the unused 3tb hdds.

I suggest at least 4tb but gets a bit pricey.
