Pros

No complains. Works as advertised. At this point, though, momma is happy so daddy is very happy.

Pny cs900 2tb 3d nand 2. Internal solid state drive (ssd) comes packaged in a retail hanging cardboard box. They are configured as raid1. Pny 4tb for my old ps4 pro.

Eliminating the hard drives in my nas has multiple benefits including less noise, heat and power consumption. Sequential read and write speeds are as advertised. Because of the memory and slow processor, disk use is intense.

Cons

Buy more from them and get scammed! It seems like a scam because they require you to pack the product according to their complicated instructions. Instead there was a link on downloading acronis software, but no instructions.

This is the first time i've ever had an ssd die on me. My educated guess is that either:1- the drive overheats and then throttles and stops until temperature goes down a bit. The internal cache/chipset responsible for transferring what is in the cache... Read More

This acer laptop provided easy access and this drive fit old slot perfectly and is working great.

I installed this one along side that one and put the latest version of linux on it in my 14 year old desktop and now it is on steroids.

It was fast before but this drive exceeded my expectations.

Competitiveness

The new pny solid state drives makes the two computers run better than when the computers were brand new, super fast speeds.

But for anything else, i would go with a more faster ssd brand.

My other ssd is 2 years old and a different brand and earlier version.
