Pros

It can render faster than my eyes can see it happening. Significantly improved cad/cam software performance. Also improves plot times when background plotting cannot be used.

It performs just as well as any dual-slot gaming board i've ever used.

Bought this to decode/encode videos. I have an nvidia gtx 1050 * in a different computer. Nvidia locks their consumer cards at two transcodes at once.

The package is not retail box. Never had this issue before with the original dell card.

Great graphics card to run 4 monitors.

After installation, it didn't properly display a test file in high-bit mode in photoshop (search the internet for "10-bit test ramp.

But tough times - like this gpu crisis - require extraordinary solutions.

So yes, if that's what you're looking for then this was worth the money.

Packaging/appearance

So far i'm not complaining about the performance, my only problem is that the card came in a generic box, but that's all new.

Competitiveness

It is much better than a nvidia quadro k2000 (the card i it replaced).

For gamers looking for a gpu-shortage savior, know this is about the same performance as a gtx 1060 3gb or it's amd equivalent, the rx 580.
