Pros & Cons
Cons
This isn't just a badly optimised game, this is very much an unfinished game. It has all the right ingredients but falls short because of an extreme lack of overall quality. The new pokemon are ugly too.
Game constantly drops frames, is unable to sustain 30 in both docked or handheld mode. Consistent texture glitches and clipping of objects. The drops in frame rate and overall janky-ness are too much to put up with.

Frame drops and blurry environments can and do occur but the game itself is a great concept for a pokemon game just not the best execution

Its short with minimal postgame and because you can complete the game in any order you choose nothing scales to your level you will inevitably have uneven progression and undulating game difficulty
