Pros & Cons
Pros
A little firmer than other bottles, but not a problem. The whole thing is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. My only gripe with the bottle is when they are new you have to press very hard in order to get the content out.
This water bottle complements my bike's colors, and fits perfectly in the cage. Fits well into a standard bike water bottle holder, and can also easily be tossed into a bag.
The bottle is made with pliable plastic with a hard plastic cap and a solid rubber like lip/nozzle to dispense water. The self-sealing cap is very convenient, i like this cap better than the regular ones since you can drink easier. The nozzle is great... Read More
The tip of the bottle is leakproof so there is no waterloss while cycling. Doesn't leak. When you close it, there is not leakage. I’m a triathlete and this insulated option is amazing, no leaking and easy to wash.
This is a necessity for anyone who rides with regularity. Great for biking in warm weather. May need a bit of break-in period.
Cons
The polar bottle is definitely not leak proof and it can only hold a very small amount of water. When i squeeze it to drink, water barely comes out of it. Amazon send me a non defective replacement!
Highlights
Quality
Solid build and keeps your water cold.
The suction doesn't get too much to the point where you aren't able to drink anymore and it's very well made.
Upgrade with insulation and a sweet cap - this is a big plus over my old standard bottle.
The new bottle you pull the spout up to the open position, then all you have to do is squeeze the body for the liquid to come out.
Price
Good for the price because it works
Packaging/appearance
The look of them is a little confusing.
Competitiveness
Yes, polar started the insulated bike water bottle trend but the camelback for a while was the better bottle in my humble opini... Read More
I think the price is more than fair for such a useful product that’s also made in the usa.
If you're comparing to a hydroflask or other metal water bottle you're going to be sorely disappointed.
