This filter operates based on crossed polarizers if they are aligned they transmit the most light if they are at right angles they transmit no light

If this is attached i cannot get my lens hood over the filter because it extends out wider than a standard filter

There are two problems that keep me from giving it 5 stars however indent markers are a little off or dont seem to make sense as to where the arrow is in comparison to the actual f stop minimum and maximum not able to put my lens hood with this on
