Pros
The camera and the film deserve a new life. One has a minor hinge problem, but both are mint. These days i have my leica and x100 for normal photography.
Highlights
Quality
Solid camera--they don't build quality like this anymore, and with real leather and aluminum.
It's lovely to use and reeks of a quality of times past.
Don't pay a premium price for inferior quality film trying to pass itself off as something artsy.
Mine had a small issue with the arm that begins ejecting the film.
Competitiveness
If you don’t like that, save these beauties for people who care and buy yourself a fuxi instax or whatever, instead.
Took 5mins of googling and a paperclip to fix.

Unfortunately many thousands of sx70 fanciers have been left high and dry with essentially no film to use

Until authentic polaroid sx70 film is available again and for that matter the flashbars as well the sx70 sadly remains more a collectors item than a useful camera for the average photographer
