If id change one thing it would be the thickness of the top which turns into a bowl when you apply the brown topbottom coververy smart design clear cover to make it stronger id think it would crack if dropped so be careful and heavier so the popcorn will no lift the cover as it fills with popping popcorn

The main two we experienced are number one the removable stir plate leaves gaps around the edges where unpopped kernels can fall below into the innards of the popper and come in contact with the halogen heating element where they smolder and even catch on fire and number two although the teflon base on the waring pro is on the higher side of quality compared with other brands we have tried them all stircrazy hamilton beach etc its still teflon and over time bits scrape off during the popping process and end up in your body
