My 8 yr really enjoys this product.
It was a gift and goes well with the normal set of playsticks my 1st grader already has.
The instruction booklet that comes with the package show some sample things that can be built, but many other items can be built also.
They actually snap together but that seems far too advanced for my kids so far but mom and dad have been quite impressed.

My kids like them more than magnatiles, and they're a fraction of the price.
