Pros & Cons
Pros
These drain snakes are fairly simple to use and do a great job of clearing out drains. These are the simplest in design and they work beautifully. Sometimes the simplest solution really is the best.
Nothing beats disassembling the drain but this drain snake does a good job and is quick. Handy little gadget to have around. If you manually push the snake until it does not easily slide down the drain anymore, things work well.
It’s * but satisfying to see all the hair dredged up on those plastic spikes. Even though i wasn’t happy with the pull tab on this drain snake it still is a good inexpensive device that can help clear up a slow drain or a clog without calling a plumbe... Read More
I'm a first-time homeowner and i have long hair that clogs my bathroom sink and tub. Especially if you have daughters or a lot of hair because when you wash your hair it sometimes sheds and that with gunk can build up in the drainage. It's disgusting,... Read More
Cons
The company's ad states that it works in the bathroom is incorrect! This review is not for reimbursement, as that time frame has passed. My sink drains slowly. This the hooks are really large, making it tough to push into the quadrants.
Highlights
Quality
The unit is sturdy and held up well during use.
This one (per dh - user of such tools) is well made.
The wire is stiff and doesn't get fouled up when you use it.
No matter how much care one take in preventing plumbing drain clogs over time grime and hair build up will require drains to be cleaned.
Price
Saved me a lot of money actually.
This is a review for populo drain auger, 23 ft snake drain clog remover which at time of review is $44.
The cost is a bargain compared to the price of a plumber!
A plumber would have likely charged $400+ and asked to remove the sink as it was very tricky to get into the pipe.
Packaging/appearance
It was nicely packaged & everything pictured came w it.
The auger comes well packaged, has a hand crank and a shaft for your drill (i just put the instructions, gloves and shaft in a ... Read More
There is no storage bags or box but i think you can just get a plastic bin and store it that way.
Competitiveness
I have used another brand drain snake on a kitchen drain before and this one works exactly the same.
If you want something more durable and professional might want to look for something a little higher up the brands chain.

I particularly like the bit for the drill it’s not smooth so the drill can grip it better and that was the main selling point for me
