Pros

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. The box is reusable for storage.

It works as promised, advancing or retracting when the trigger is squeezed. Only drawback is that it's a little hefty and took some endurance to use.

There is no doubt in my mind that it could be used by a licensed plumber. Saved me a couple hundred on calling plumbers. Better than the old plumber's dump.

The snake is made of steel and can scratch porcelain or chrome surfaces. It's well-made, sturdy, and durable. They stand by their warranty and product in my eyes.

Cons

It's unclear if this is a clumsy safety feature or a faulty design. This also makes it useless. Utterly worthless tool.

The drill will not turn the auger against any real resistance. The only way to lock the cable under tension is to squeeze the big trigger clamp. This means you cannot push the cable into the drain and turn it at the same time.

Finally broke down and got this snake.

Price

At the cost of a rental i got this and used it with my cordless drill.

It's not expensive and it did the job that a manual auger could not do.

Shipping

Then sent it from the basement floor drain towards my washer/slop sink til it stopped.

Got my shower unclogged the same day i got it!

Update: i emailed the company on the 20th of feb, they responded on the 21st and i received the replacement on the 22nd.

I got this unboxed it, grabbed my drill and in less than 5 minutes of work the drain is flowing without issue!

The product comes packaged neatly, easy instructions, and it even provides gloves.

The quality and craftsmanship of this item is far superior to many other items like this.

It worked as well as a rental from oakland rentals.
