My screen shipped without one of the cables, and they got me one within two days.
I received this monitor and immediately went to my off grid deer blind for a day or work and hunting.
After 48 hours i received an upgraded model shipped to me.
Update: i reached out to the seller by way of the paper insert that came with these and with a few days a cord was delivered.

While i haven't tested it with the xbox series s yet, based on other reviews, it appears to be compatible.
I use the usb-c often compared the hdmi, it does need to be connected to a device in order for it to turn on .
