Pros
Only downside is it has to be plugged in so you can't walk around with it. A little miracle especially in these times. Security is solid on this portal and i have enjoyed using it for connecting.
Cons
The camera andmicrophone don't have a battery. The audio quality is awful. It is now another piece of high tech junk.
The portal does not allow u to enter username, only a password to connect to wifi. Thanks fb for promising so much, but delivering nothing. Having to setup the internet connection every day and then dealing with facebook messenger was a pain in the *.... Read More
Software is also buggy. This integrates with nothing else with echo.
Screen resolution is pathetic and unresponsive, a piece of plastic to cover the camera. This seems to have been a very poor attempt to combine a phone, tablet, and alexa.

Great portal love it , works well , camera not as good as the new mini , but still works great
Love it for communicating with out of state family- feels ‘more real’ than facetime with better quality and a screen that moves around.
We get a lot of lost audio or video and loss of connection on our family video chat (8 users at a time).
Good in every way except the camera doesn't always operate how it's supposed to.

I honestly do like this portal but i am not to crazy on it being for fbi use alexa everyday and yes it is good and does connect but it is slower then a regular alexa deviceworth the money but that extra dollar would of got you exactly what you were looking for in my opinion
