Pros

The setup was a breeze. Company website is pretty spartan on detailed setup. Great router for a great price.

Cons

Updating portal firmware = no change. Multiple factory resets yield to the same results. Just food another reset having the same result. I hope a future firmware upgrade will fix this issue.

Website and app are very barebones. No support or documentation available. App only works when the portal is connected to internet. router toggles on and offline, and this is reflected by the green <> red led ring light.

The router is pretty light weight and the white casing on top is composed of a hard glossy plastic that will be prone to scratches. It's hard to differentiate in this space, and when i'm shelling out $200 i don't want to be a guinea pig.

I managed to pick up a pair of these for $80 total (mis-priced at fry's retail store).

I actually get the promised speeds i paid for with my internet (i average 220mbps download speed, 60 upload) over wifi, not plugged in.

Worried about some of the negative reviews, but, based on a given cost, i ordered it and installed.

This router delivers the exact speed that charter spectrum claims to give us.
