The portal chair uses a locking system to position the degree of recline. The cushioned seat/mesh back is comfortable but not too hot. Reclining has me wanting to nap on the spot.

I was hesitant about the xl sizing but there was not a 34regular34 size available so we went with it anyway

I find it awkward to push the chair into a reclining position certainly not as smoothly as the lafuma and it is not possible to sit fully back and have my legs align naturally with the angles of the chair
