Pros
Reliable product from a reputable name. Safe to handle but enough power for most chores. Use it for building a deck.
Cons
The only thing nice about this circular saw is its lightweight and good handle design. Unfortunately the saw is too weak to cut through my 1/4” plywood subfloor. Having the plate connected to the blade cover makes for a flimsy design.
Porter cable should be embarassed to put their name on it. Shameful, truly. Item is too expensive.
