Pros

Using it to make kitchen drawers and pull out shelving. It is very sturdy and the * hold the wood really well. Can be used to make a drawer.

Work perfectly, no slippage, no mess up. Comes with a heavy duty router bit which is a plus. The new * has a set up gauge built right in saving much time and one less router in the shop.

For me, this displaces the vertical piece (the tails) a little more to the right and giving the correct (1/2”) offset. My * cuts accurate and i'm not messing with that.

This is absolutely the easiest * that i have ever used! Easy setup and great dovetails. Would recommend it to anyone with limited patience.

Cons

You literally have to use the porter cable 17/32 bit for this to work at all. It only has one blind dovetail template. It is now useless unless i use * to hold the board in place.

I have other handheld routers and a router installed in my router bench.

Also, it is more cost effective to buy the upgraded version of the porter cable jig with the additional templates.
