Love this bottle cage. It seems like it's doing a fine job holding onto water bottles and thermos. It's well made, holds my bottles securely, and it looks great doing it.

It’s a super cute design, and it’s extremely sturdy.
This isn't the first portland design works item i've purchased.
That said, this fella really grips your bottle.
Packaging/appearance
The holder is pictured as rootbeer type color but as arrived its appears 1/3 gold 2/3 rootbeer-hey, it will still look good.
But looks great on my commuter/around town bike/cruising bike.

Like others have said it is kind of hard to get a water bottle out while riding but i’d rather it be retained well than loose

I generally only drink when i’m stopped so this is not a big deal for me
