Pros
I have this rack mounted on my surly disc trucker. It is sleek and looks great. The only thing is that it scratches extremely easy.
Construction is solid, was easy to attach to my bike. Easy to install, and doesn't rattle or squeak. Pdw includes a bag with p * and screws in case your bike doesn't have brazed on mounting holes.
It * down on it and holds very securely. The only problem i have is the 2 extension arms that i have circled in the photo.
The rack is sturdy powder coated steel and will carry a touring load easily. Can lug up to 70lbs. It is a little pricey, but for a beautiful rack that can haul heavy loads, it's hard to beat this thing.

Price
The price is unbelievable compared to other sturdy racks such as tubus or nitto, and the installation is much easier to do.
Packaging/appearance
- the screws were cutting into the u-lock; so i got some slightly shorter screws at the hardware store.
It was shipped in poor packaging, so was bent a bit on arrival, but straightened out when i mounted it on my bike.

The seat stay arms mount to a sliding piece in the slot at the frontcenter of the platform

It is easy to loosely fasten the rack and then level it by sliding the arms in the slot

It is close to my seat and if i needed my seat down all of the way it would rub against it
